CAD is the use of computer technology for the process of designing and modeling jewelry. This software provides the customer with input-tools to streamline the designing, drafting and manufacturing their custom piece. During the CAD process, we create an electronic file to view digitally, a wax model is then produced, and lastly the actual metal piece is created. CAD’s can be used for all types of jewelry. Delage uses this technology because it enables the customer to get a complete idea of what their custom piece would look like and guarantee their satisfaction.
